Dayton: Homeschool Craft Series

Beat cabin fever this winter by bringing the kids to SunWatch! Learn about American Indian history, culture, and arts and crafts through classes and take-home activities. Each class starts at 1:00 p.m. and lasts approximately 1 – 1.5 hours. These programs are designed for Pre-K through sixth grade students. Advance registration is required.

Tuesdays, February 3-24 @ 1:00 p.m.
Grades: Pre-K and K, 1-3, 4-6
Young students are invited to take a trip through Ohio history and culture with hands-on classes that offer fun and learning – and the chance to produce their own creations to keep. Older students in the tool-making course will have the opportunity to craft tools that were used by people in this area long ago era by using stone, bone, shell, and copper to create a bone awl, chip stone and hammer copper—come join the fun!
