The Institute for Women’s and Gender Studies (IWGS), the University of Winnipeg Students’ Association (UWSA), and Indigenous Student Services are excited to host the Sacred Womyn Workshop on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 1pm-5pm at the University of Winnipeg. (Exact location to be announced).

The event is free and open to people of all genders.

Diane Maytwayashing and Leah Schroeder will instruct two powerful life changing presentations on teachings of ancient Indigenous knowledge of women and how our energy connects us as One in this Divine Universe.

Diane is a teacher of Ancient knowledge and demonstrates the depths of brilliance and sophistication of the Matriarchal structures of Indigenous societies, a brief history of Matriarchy in Ancient Europe and how women are interrelated to the energy sources of Mother Earth, Moon, and the Universe.

Leah is a Reiki Master, ThetaHealing® and Integrated Energy Therapy® Practitioner who combines her extensive knowledge of Spiritually Guided Energy Healing where she teaches about the life force energy within self, environment, community, the Earth and the Universe, how that connects us, and how our thoughts and emotions are interconnected with our wellbeing and the wellbeing of the world around us.

Together, they designed and continue to enhance this exceptional and unique workshop with astonishing information for women to observe the energy force they have and to comprehend the ancient Matriarchal knowledge of the Sacredness of being a woman. The workshop sessions are intended to open and expand the consciousness of all women and to bring awareness on how to heal your life, progress in your life and enrich your life in all areas.
