Washington, District of Columbia: Dr. Kingsley Chiedu Moghalu: Distinguished Speaker Series

December 02, 2014 at McKenna Long & Aldridge in Washington, District of Columbia, DC.

Today, many consider Africa to be the new frontier in globalization and economic development. But how can Africa achieve such development and prosperity for its population? Dire issues need to be confronted and be translated into public policy to improve and promote growth within.

Dr. Kingsley Chiedu Moghalu, Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria and author of the acclaimed book “Emerging Africa: How the Global Economy’s ‘Last Frontier’ Can Prosper and Matter,” offers an innovative vision on how Africa’s progress in the twenty-first century will require complete reinvention of the African mindset. He challenges conventional wisdom and demonstrates a new perception of Africa’s transformation, based on philosophy, economics and implications for development strategies.

This event is free and open to the public. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing. Following the event, there will be a wine and cheese reception.
