Epic Theatre Company is proud to present the Rhode Island Premiere of This by Melissa James Gibson, a unique and humorous look at life after the middle mark. What happens to us when life takes a turn we aren’t ready for? Who do we become?

Jane is a single mother still dealing with her husband’s death and some loving friends who are only complicating things. When a simple party game turns everybody’s world upside down, Jane has to get herself together while everybody else is falling apart.

Epic’s production of “This” reunites the team from last season’s acclaimed drama The Other Place. Lara Hakeem directs a stellar cast led by Emily Lewis (The Other Place, Epic Theatre), and featuring Robert C. Reynolds (The Other Place), MJ Daly (For Colored Girls…, Mixed Magic Theatre), Christopher Verleger (The Normal Heart, Epic Theatre), and Terry Shea (The Visit, Contemporary Theatre Company).
